This slow video, created on my bed using a thermal camera, is one out of almost 200 videos filmed in domestic conditions, during a residency at Cité international des arts in Paris.
The thermal camera is able to visually catch heat imprints left by past presences. I am laying down in a fetus position, warming up the mattress below my body; than flipping to the other side when the heat imprint next to me is just about to disappear. In this way I am keeping my heat twin always alive and warm.
